It’s no secret that there’s a crisis at our border and in our towns. We need strong, decisive leadership to combat the illegal immigration crisis.
Utah could stop the sanctuary state designation overnight. If our jails are good enough for our citizens, they are good enough for our noncitizens. When someone poses a threat to our communities, they should not be released into our communities, but that is exactly what is going on.
Immigration is the great story of America. We must make it easier for people to come to America legally. Opening the border to illegal immigration is deliberate and calculated to overwhelm states like Utah. If Utah doesn’t stand up and say “no”, then we are complicit in undermining our communities.
